Salida’s Music in the Park is BAAACK!

Putting our best foot forward, Salida lets the talented kids of Rok Skool kick of the summer concert series in Riverside Park. Every summer, the last day of school is celebrated with a line up of local youth bands performing to an ecstatically bouncing crowd of their peers. The annual event, Sunfest, marks the official beginning of summer in S-Town.

Directly after Sunfest, Salida kick’s off Memorial Day weekend with Bluegrass on the Arkansas, an annual festival that brings bands from near and far to the band shell in the park.

From here on out, it’s pretty much go time, with live music and festivals in the park from now till Labor Day weekend. Here we go!!!…

Just 7 miles upstream from Salida, The Drift in serves delicious cocktails, tacos, nachos, jokes at the bar, music on the stage…they’ve really got it all! Ride your bike out or float in. However you get here, you’re gonna have a blast and no doubt run into some of your local pals.
