Sometimes you just gotta get out into the High Country and see what that old Toyota will do. Clohesy Lake is a gorgeous alpine lake in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, about 30 miles northwest of Saida. The initial miles are along Forest Road 381 (commonly referred to as Clohesy Lake Road), but getting vehicles across the first stream crossing requires high clearance, four wheel drive, and a hearty sense of adventure.
